To direct message the Midjourney bot on Discord, follow these steps:
- Make sure that you have joined the Midjourney Discord server.
- Click on the Midjourney Bot from the Member List (or anywhere you see the Midjourney Bot’s name).
- Send any message to the Midjourney Bot. This will begin your Direct Message conversation with the Midjourney Bot.
Note: By default, direct messages to the Midjourney bot are not private. If you want to create private images, you need to subscribe to the more expensive Pro or Mega plans.
Once you have started a direct message conversation with the Midjourney bot, you can use the /imagine
command to generate images. To do this, simply type /imagine
followed by a description of the image you want to create. For example, to generate an image of a cat sitting on a beach, you would type /imagine a cat sitting on a beach
.
The Midjourney bot will then generate four images based on your prompt. You can then select the image that you like best, or ask the bot to generate more images by typing /again
.
Here are some tips for sending direct messages to the Midjourney bot:
- Be as specific as possible in your prompts. The more specific you are, the better the bot will be able to understand what you want.
- Use keywords and phrases that are relevant to the image you want to create. For example, if you want to generate an image of a realistic cat, you might use keywords like “fur,” “whiskers,” and “eyes.”
- Be patient. It can take the bot a few minutes to generate images, especially if your prompt is complex.
